Nextocell has been active since 2015 and its management has over 20 years experience in the Telecoms industry. The Nextocell Anti Fraud and QoS testing platforms have been built on the learning from that experience.
As a result of the challenges to the Voice business posed by OTT services and the ever decreasing low entry level to voice trading, the amount of fraud has dramatically increased over the last few years. Nextocell brings a new tool to carrier risk management with financial protection against damaging disputes that allows carriers to avoid losing time and money in dispute management as well as avoiding the cost of taking out credit insurance policies.
With multiple geographical groups forming common billing islands (e.g. EU, ONA) CLI corruption has become widespread, heavily impacting operators' revenue models. Sophisticated manipulation of the original CLI and PAI with false but real attributed local identification has become a mainstream activity with voice wholesalers. Nextocell provides live reports of CLI corruption on incoming calls to clients' networks from 120 countries.
